My first modelling order this years from Hannants. It was mainly the usual selection of PE, paints and other bits and pieces. But also got this which is almost a kit in its own right. 2017_01110005 by Martin Bishop, on Flickr Say.......................I like that!!! Gotta check to see if there's one in 1/48 scale.

Hard to find factory P/E set for the 956. It popped up on eBay for $20 and I fell from a great height. DSC02896 by James Duff, on Flickr Then a few resin conversion pieces from Plamoz. A set of wheels for the new Tamiya '16 Honda/Acura NSX and RF Hardtop conversion for the Tamiya '15 Mazda MX-5. DSC02898 by James Duff, on Flickr I love all this AM stuff for autos Joel. One doesn't realize just how much is available until they get into that genre of model building. The list is endless!!!

Then there's the AM stuff. I picked all this up from Model Round up. Good stuff like black flocking for carpet, PE rocker cover wingnuts, PE cooling flex fans, Chevrolet floor mats and engine oil filter decals are just a few of the items I've got in store for my current 1969 Camaro revamp.

My Christmas gifts from the wife and son. They decided to choose what they liked and buy that for me this year(I normally send them a list). I was a bit nervous when they told me at first, but was pleasantly surprised when the package arrived. Having never built a helicopter or a big rig before, there should be some fun when I get round to them.

Kind of built up a glut of new kits by taking advantage of several black friday sales and extra markdown specials. Also, though I usually built WWII prop jobs, it seems I'm taking an ominous turn in a more modern direction. Is it a sign??? First off that's a nice spread of models you've got there Rick. I've noticed the trend in a lot of aircraft modelers to graduate to the newer more modern aircraft. While I'm not quite there yet, I have caught myself thinking about building the Tamiya Tomcat.

Unfortunately they don't offer anything in 1/72nd scale though Martin. Sorry for that news.

Bish, you just had to put that catapult for the Arado on here didn't you! I've seen it and the Arado built up st a show and it is gorgeous. I've got the Arado sitting in the stash impatiently waiting its turn but so far I've resisted the catapult. I know if I got it I'd want the correct base go put it on. I'm reasonably sure I don't have enough room for a 1/32 Tirpitz!

I've got two of 'em in 1/48 scale and have resisted building them because 1) I don't want no dang seaplane resting on the floats in my display case as that would look weird AND retarded , and 2.) I'm not good at modeling water.
I now have no reason to NOT build one of these after seeing a catapult in 1/48 scale now available.

Almost forgot.....I ordered this last week. Gotta have some different background for the "glamour shots" of my builds. I'm getting kind of bored with the white backgrounds. I've already got the Fujimi Garage Tools kit in my stash so I see this build on the bench fairly quick.

Well, that's proved me wrong, again, lol. I never noticed they did any 48th stuff and I visit their site every month at least. Just had a look at the site and what do you know, 1/48th. From the look of it it has everything the 32nd one has. So, when you pulling the trigger lol.

I'm reasonably sure I don't have enough room for a 1/32 Tirpitz! I first saw a build of the pair a few years ago and straight away knew I had to do that. I have had the catapult cued up for several years just waiting to get the kit, but its not been easy. So as soon as I got the kit in Nov, the catapult was next up. I had originally thought about doing it in Bismarck markings, but that ship didn't have this type of launcher. So now I need to find a ship that did, I am guessing one of the smaller ones.

stopped by the local LHS to see if my long order Airfix He111H6's ever got there. They finally showed up! Then I saw the new Airfix B17g, and the RFM Abrams (1991 ODS). Won't eat for awhile, but ended up with four new kits. gary

STASH! A-Haaaaaaahhhh.... He'll save everyone of us. [Queen]
The plan:"Have to get another one of those nice Citroen 11CV I did for my U-Boat diorama. Ended up as a gangster car becuase of the wrong paint!" The result:This... I only knew that the shop reduced some modeling related articles about 20%. Went in.... and they reduced them ALL about 50%!!! Saved me 50 bucks instantly. And what beautiful kits these are... Rarely seen - the Tristar tank. Massive howitzer with loads of extra goodies & PE parts. And the ex ICM figures. 12 for 10€, especially the Tommies will fit perfectly to my MasterBox set of Tommies carrying a German soldier.

over the last few years, I've became a serious Tristar fan! That particular kit has been in my mind for sometime now. Lets hope Hobby Boss brings the entire Tristar line back out, as they are way better than most of the others out there. gary

A friend is building a Tristar tank right now and as far as I can see this particular kit is like he experienced his kits: correct, highly detailed and with single tracks plus PE parts. This weekend, Im going to an expo and meet him again, he promsed to bring a Tiger I book with some pictures of the original "driving school" tank. It even features engine detail, open hatches and so on, figures are included as well. Cant expect more for 15 bucks!

Not bit one yet but the reviews all sound great, so I will second HB bringing out the whole range.
