Loving the paint work Lucas. Did you prime it first?

This is awesome! Love your paint work.
To me, the copper gives it a very steam punk feel.

Loving the paint work Lucas. Did you prime it first? Thank you. Sorry for the late answer, just overraead it by accident. I didnt prime it here, of course its always the better solution. The squid on the other hand really needs primer, because especially the thinner arms are quite soft. Thank you all, glad you like it too.

I missed this one until I saw it posted in MOM. Nice work Lucas. I am usually very much impressed by your bases. You seem to always come up with different ideas. A clever creative base can add so much to a model.

Youre welcome Tojo & KiWi. First test for the Nautilus this weekend. Finally met some pals again - some of them I havent seen for one year or longer. Lots of chats, very good models and a good time after all. Sold a lot of stash and went home with more money than I brought there (including some interesting additions - more soon).
Threw it in the competition for fun and I was stunned.
They had an internal ranking system (where some judges from clubs show up) and for every category the audience could take a choice too.
Ranked 1st in both cases.
Im still a bit speechless.
