Into the last week of my first 4 week stint and i have something resembling aircraft, at least with the Stuka's. I have focused on those so i can prime and paint the yellow markings before this week is over. After sanding down the fuselage seams i then added the wings followed by the undercarriage. On the Fujimi kits i had to add the wheels when the two half's of the undercarriage were put together. So the wheel hubs will be masked before painting. On the Academy i used Quickboost resin undercarriage so the wheels can be added later. The D and G kits both have engraved lines for the wing MG's for some reason. These were filled along with a little filler on the wings. I have also started adding the small details on the underside of all 3. So here are a couple of pics with each starting with the R. My plan is to add white primer to the wing tip undersides, fuselage and top of the G's left wing on Wed and then add the yellow at the weekend. So this give me a couple of days to add some final bits. And then i can play catch up with the 190. But at least the pit is fitted and fuselage sides together. Still need to add some wash and dry brushing to the gun bays and engine bulkhead. And while posting these i have just realised i forgot to add the radio in the hole on the right side. BUGGER. That's twice. That's all for now. I am off to try and work out how i can fit it without taking the fuselage apart.

Thanks guys.
I know Andy, soon goes. But I am sure the break will do me good. I'll only be doing 3 kits at once.

Final update as i come to the end of 4 weeks and take a break. As i had hoped i got the yellow markings applied to all 3 Stukas. I put down 2 coats of white primer followed by 2 light coats of Xtracolour RLM 04. On the R-2 i have also added the bomb crutch from the Eduard set. In the front i used styrene rod to make the padded bar above the IP. The only pics i could find don't show how this was fitted, but the Airfix kit comes with this piece so i used that as reference. I had hoped to fit the canopy, but when i tried it wasn't wide enough for some reason. I need to get some Eduard masks for all 3 87's so I'll get a vac canopy as well. The D-5. And the G-2. And now i have my own Kette. As for the 190, i did have to take the fuselage apart to fit the radio, fortunately it was quite easy to do. And with that done and the fuselage back together, i could get the wings and tail on. The filler around the open gun bar was needed due to me cutting away a but to much. And that it for now. I should be getting the masks and canopy while i am on the break so when i start up again i can get the Stuka's masked up and ready for some paint. But for now they will be boxed up and put out the way.
