Interesting build Leon. What I know about anime would fit on a postcard but it does look cool!!
Have you managed to get the basement all sorted and dried out yet?

Andrew thank you! I don't know that much about anime either so your not alone. The basement is dried out.Now it's time to start getting rid of stuff we have no use for anymore.Hopefully in a month or two we'll have a clean and empty basement.

Liking it ALOT!!!! I found too that while the spacecraft from the series are generally molded in the colors you see, that it goes along way to painting them closer to the depicted colors... yours is SPOT ON

is it modelair or modelcolor? Modelair should be thinned out before spraying... up to 50/50 (I use a 2-1 paint to thinner and work from there)..... if its model color, you might just need a second coat over the other paint.... lighter colors over dark sometimes make it tough.... but let it dry really good before you do ANYTHING....

Brian,it's model color! I'll give it a few days to dry and put on another coat.

Brian,it's model color! I'll give it a few days to dry and put on another coat. I hate to even suggest this too.. but take the cap off and stir it up a bit... I have found that sometimes the paint gets stuck in the tip or in the bottom of the bottle.... if you have stainless steel BBs you can throw those in and that way when they start rattling you know the paints well mixed.... dont use brass BBs though.. .they rust quick and change colors....

Andrew, thank you! It's 8 inches or 20.32 cm. Brian, thanks for the suggestions! I just read about stirring the paint because the pigments sometimes settle to the bottom.

Evening guys! Came home from work and did a finger nail test on the white gray and it came right off. Got out the AB thinner and a Q-tip and carefully removed it.Cleaned the surfaces with alcohol and brushed on some white primer. Will let this cure till the weekend and try putting the white gray on again.
