Thanks Tobi. I have to admit, I learned the proper way while researching a past build. That was a vehicle from the 24th Panzer Division. As you know this unit was Formerly the 1st Cavalry........
As always THANK YOU

For all the others who wonder what the heck we're talking 'bout: I don't know about other countries, but with the horseshoe being a symbol reflecting good luck, at least in Germany we believe the open side has to point upwards, so that the luck stored in it won't accidentally drop out!

Lil teeny update for Ausf "L": These are a couple of accessories that are semi-critical for the build. Been working on the PPSH-41 for a while now. No it's not perfect, BUT...................

This update is for my friend Steve who lives on the complete opposite side of the state...... Here is the layout for the torsion bar swing arms. They are semi recessed and fairly detailed. I am sending Billie Jean my master to cast the arms, BUT it's time to start the layout. Please note, there are what seems like a million details that have to start falling into place, this is just the first "baby" steps...... OH yeah, that is the Tamiya 1/35th Ausf "L" I am using for a mathematical starting point.

So, I've been letting the "dust" settle on the re-building of the lower chassis. So I started working the Gunner figure. This kinda shows how I go abooot creating a figure(s):

This is for my friend Steve who lives way across the state. I've been working on the turret interior. NOW please note, UNLESS you are a Seattle IPMS weenie replete with your dental mirrors and EMS flashlights.... you aren't gonna see anything other than a look down through the Commanders cupola... So my interior is NOT complete nor super detailed..........

Just enough detail PJ! No use going hog wild if it won't be seen.

Thanks Leon, here's the funny thing. The Panzer III's don't have a great bunch of details in the upper turret. I guess cause it was pretty tight in there so other than the essentials, there not much else.
