OK, got my earplugs at the ready The ones along the front edge of the mudguards that cover the drive-wheels are coach bolts, and do indeed look like rivets. But the ones along the edge are domed slotted screws. Check out this link to a Panzer IV walkaround and pictures 6 & 7 in particular. And yes, my blood-pressure rose somewhat when I found out after I drilled (the plastic was really hard and I ended up breaking several bits) all those holes and filled them with resin rivets and CAed them into place. But, of course, that doesn't mean that there weren't also cases where coach bolts were used for the whole lot. Does that make me a screw-counter as opposed to a rivet-counter?

Your STILL trying to kill me.................... Carriage fricking bolts screw headed dodecahedrons....... where in world am I gonna find a non rivet phillips head screw in 1/25th scale.............. Yes folks that very loud and audible "thump" you just heard was PJ2 hitting the floor, followed by the sounds of Paramedics administering CPR and the use of a defibrillator............. The late PJ would never embellish the facts just to make his friend in Germany feel bad....

Well this part/sub-assembly MAY NOT make the final cut as it were. But here is the antenna cradle. As the turret rotates it lowers the antenna into this cradle.

As expected...another fine update! I'll stay out of the slotted screw "discussion"! Nice bid on the antenna cradle! Keep plugging away!

So as a bachelor I don't have to go any where today.................. Thus I get to nap and work on my build today..................... So in the end the hinges will be in the open position, with crewman in each hatch-way/opening.

Gentleman, THANK YOU again..... BUT I hasten to point out that I again am a giant JACK-A-LOPE.... Father forgive me for I have sinned against the rules of modeling...... In a moment of "true" stupidity I mounted one set of the hatches.... And in less than 24 hours I've already broke the lil dang things twice........

My dad did it in 1:1 scale: bent down in front of an open cupboard, lost his balance and optimistically thought holding on to the cupboard door would stop him succumbing to gravity - both ended up on the deck. I know it's wrong, but
