Afternoon fellas! Managed to get a base coat on the lower hull and wheels and ran out of paint.I'm not really liking the color as it looks to green over the gray primer.Looks like i'm going to have to gradualy build up the color and maybe add some deck tan to lighten it up a bit.Off to the LHS in a few and hope to have another update later. 001 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 002 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 003 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 004 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 005 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 006 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr Thanks for looking! G,paint will come as soon as the cave warms up! Yay! I have to constantly remind myself that March in the Mojave Desert is akin to May in the rest of the country. 70+ here all week. I'm digging the progress. Looking forward to more! G

Leon,
Cool update..... I have a question..... What Tamiya color is that and did you lighten it up?? I've always used Tamiya Dark yellow. I like your version better though..
Thanks PJ

Looking good Leon! I'm wondering though: why is it called 'Dunkelgelb'? It's neither particularly dunkel, nor is it very gelb...

Leon, I am very impressed with how this Stug is coming out! All of my experiences with Dragons first attempts at armor models were very frustrating. You are obviously a master!

Joel, thank you! I don't think i'm a master. This was just simple low parts kit and easy to follow instructions. I do have another Dragon kit on the shelf and curious how well it goes together.
