I've had it a long time Andy but never had a reason to build it until modelworx.proboards.com/ started a Recovery/maintenance GB. Keeps me out of the bars and not chasing women. Thanks Guys Tony lee

Very nice!
Good opportunity for some of that tonylee weathering.
MrsG always says she'd rather I sit at the breakfast bar building a model, than sit in a bar hitting on one.

Nice one Mr. T!! Always good to work a little outside your normal box of goodies! This one has some interesting weathering possibilities to be had! Looking forward to the next phase!

Doesn't surprise me that you've found a way to build a Pz IV without that rotating-gun-thingy on top. Looking good Tony!

Update More Paint: Since Recovery vehicles were kept and operated far behind the lines they were only painted with the base color of the day most of the time,Panzer Olive Green was the base color from late 1944 until the end of the war. I used a combination of Life Color and Tamiya Olive Green, separate not mixed of coarse and a sealer coat before applying any detail colors or washes. That's it for today guys Tony lee

Looks good! Engineering machines are always interesting! And it's very unusual to see a PZ in green Respect.

S e r z h I realized not to long after I started building SPGs especially German SPGs anything is possible unless you're building a copy of a specific machine in a museum otherwise it's a "Damn if you do or Damn if you don't" proposition. It's like the adage that a Wildebeest appears to have been built from left over parts. I'm a "If it looks like a Duck and quacks like a Duck it must be a Duck" builder and I try to do it well. That's my story and i'm sticking to it. Tony lee
