This is really coming together well, Tony.
I agree with others who have commented about the green. It's a little disorienting, but I like it!

Wes ask "What paint/method did you use for the wood effect?" I start with a light color of acrylic base color like Dark Yellow,Desert Yellow,Wood,Light Wood,Deck Tan etc etc. Let that dry at least over night. Now you're ready for an over coat of oil paint. Raw Umber,Burnt Umber or Vandyke Brown which I mix and match for variation. Place a moderately heavy coat over the base color and let it soak in for 20 to 30 minutes then I gently wipe with a piece of cotton cloth leaving a very thin coat of the oil. Sometimes i'll then use a stiff bristle brush to form lines to duplicate wood grain. Set it aside until dry and seal with a clear coat before you apply your washes. That's the way you do it,The money's for nothing and the chicks are free. Thanks for asking Wes Tony lee

Not going to belittle your work Tony, but the green base color is a bold move for this subject.
The Bergepanzer IV were made from damaged Pz.Kpfw.IV chassis, turned in by front-line units and refurbished accordingly by removing the turret and adding the recovery equipment. That leaves room for uncertainty.
Jagdpanther and Panther in green base are proven, also 38(t) variants from BMM (not Skoda!) and not to forget the very late Tiger B at Kassel. Dragon also has a box-art of a Jagdpanzer IV L/48 based on the Aberdeen vehicle, but I question it's an original paint-job. The road wheels are over-painted completely and the blown gun muzzle doesn't show any signs of wear.
The upcoming change from dark-yellow to green base paint was first announced and already allowed (if there was shortage of supplies) in November 1944, but was only made official no sooner than in Heeresverordnungsblatt March 1945, with planned full implementation in June '45.

Update Detail painting and Figures: Jib Base: I stippled some Olive Green around the base of the straps, scrubbed in some here and there to show traffic wear and added Dark Steel to the hardware. Figures: These are from a DML Ammo Loading Crew. The guy on the ground was modified by replacing the arms and cutting off the right hand and re-positioned to hold the chain. Critiques are Welcomed Tony lee

The overall green paint is a bit disconcerting, but you pulled it off nicely. Besides, after some of the paint scheme's I've pulled off over the years, I shouldn't say a word.
