Yet another StuG III

After combining parts to replicate the DAK StuG III D, I was left with enough to build an E model. The majority of this came from a bagged kit obtained at the IPMS contest in Phoenix. I scratchbuilt the stowage box. This is marked as a generic command vehicle, note the two antennae.  

DML all around with some winterketten Magic Tracks from goodness knows what kit. I did see photos of E's wearing them in Russia. This was my first serious attempt at a heavily weathered Panzer Gray finish.  Mud is a mix of Hydrocal, white glue and hobby paint.

Thank you all!

I finished the painting on this, sat back and said "Oh my sweet baby Jesus what did I just do?"
I had, in my opinion, created an overmodulated circus wagon. Talk about 50 shades of gray..............
A good friend said to just begin the weathering and see if it doesn't even out. Well I think it certainly came out good. Here's another one where I surprised myself!
