Well, which is it? Dayton or Virginia? If Dayton that would be sweet. Only a 2 and a half hour drive for me and I have in-laws there so I could stay for the whole thing.

2018 will be in ohio, Virginia in 2019 I believe.
Had a good time at the show, was nice to see everyone and all the great looking models. Huge congrats to all the MSC members who took home some gongs, and huge congrats to T for cleaning up and the BIS, it was well deserved and about time too lol.
After seeing nearly 700 models I think I have my mojo back now lol. Might even enter a model in a show again lololol.

Next show will be Wonderfest in Kentucky in June and then the IPMS Nats. in July, and EagleQuest in June as well. Will be gearing up for doing demos and seminars at those shows but after that I'll finally get around to hitting the bench and having fun lol.

You are correct - for the year after. Think the progression is Ohio, VA, then Buffalo (unless Danbury can beat their bid).
Man that would be so sweet if I could come to Nats every three years!!

Dupes Im embarrassed we were in the same place all that time and never even met once! Congrats on the takes ALL MSCers!!! Leon good to make your handshake!!! I have only been to two AMPS Nats, but I have been to plenty Armorcons, and the North East Mill Mod guys do a fantastic job with this show, both logistically and technically!
If this was a marker show... Ohio has their work cut out for them!
On a personal note, it was humbling to be recognized by peers and get off the basic builders step. I have no doubt Ill be interemediate for life, but its not about winning medal or being recognized anymore... I made a step and Im happy.... if more come along the way, so be it. The friendship and camaradere that this club and AMPS in general has given me is worth more than ANY gong, gadget or plaque ever could be. ON TO OHIO!!! LOL

In Dupes's defense, he moves around pretty quick...all with a methodical (OCD-ish) attack format! LOL Not a bad thing at all...but fun to watch! Big congrats Brian! You earned it my friend! No, you will not be "stuck their for life"! There is always room for improvement, for all of us! Tackle one or two things each build and take chances! Your PAK40 nailed it! I looked at this prior to your final setting at the build meet and you took things to the next step focusing on the minor weathering details that helped get you that gold! These shows are the only way we can get real-time, hands on feedback from our peers. 90% of the comments are actually constructive criticism...how we choose to absorb that criticism and what we do with it after is the difference between remaining static and taking those steps forward! Looking forward to Dayton for sure! Hoping to spend some time at the air museum and hanging out with friends! Well...maybe not Andy so much, but then again, he is family! SO we kind of have to let him tag along! LOL Just kidding Andy!! Anytime, anywhere!

Dupes, if they are laughing with you, they're leaving some other poor sod alone who can't take a joke.
