I picked up the 1/24 scale Italeri Opel Blitz for next to nothing at a show. Naturally I wanted to build a DAK version. So, now I'm in the midst of turning the civilian version of the truck into a military transport. Then I get some large scale accessories from Steve at Value Gear. Oh the wheels begin to turn. Then I score some 1/24 scale figures from fleabay, "Henry Ford and Friends" or some such. Mix and match heads, some scratchbuilding and oh my what do we have here? My first ever foray into the diorama world. Can you hear the theme from a popular movie? Paint is all Tamiya with a smattering of oils and Vallejo for small details. I scanned and printed a lot of artwork for the marking's on the crates. Yes I know my German is not correct, it's that I discovered that after applying decals and flat coating. "Not Open" will have to suffice for "Do Not Open" LOL G
