Happy Easter to all! After I recover from my cataract surgery, this is what I have planned for a diorama. Tamiya Nashorn, with detailed drivers/radio operators compartment. The Nashorn will also be rearming and refueling. The support vehicles will be a Tamiya Opel Blitz with a load of gas barrels and a hand pump, plus a Dragon Opel Maultier with ammunition cases. The figures will be the Dragon winter flak crew, wearing the reversible parka/trousers. In a "empty" place of the diorama, there will be a Tamiya field briefing figure set with stove and the armor and infantry leaders studying a map and "talking" I am trying to decide if a field kitchen (gulachkanone) would be appropriate. The base will be "snow" covered with "muddy" tracks from the vehicles. I feel like I'm missing something, but, I don't know what. All comments, criticism, and cheap shots accepted and considered. Talk more soon, Joel.

Talk more soon, Joel. I'll assume eyes are getting better. Remember the German fuel drums look different from the Allied counterparts. Same of course for the gas cans. Royal Model sells the correct fuel drums if it matters much. From what I've read, the field kitchens were held further back near the repair depots. Their food was brought out to the front lines via truck or even half track. Looks like your on the right track to a nice diorama. gary

Sounds like a good plan Joel! You have plenty of time to get things thought out! Can't wait to see this come-about!
