Looking real nice! Did you have to build a addition to your house to keep it in?

The struggle was worth it Brent! Particularly looking forward to the 'wench rope' - hopefully with a suitably attired wench

Thanks guys. Getting the wench rope has been a problem as there are not a lot of wench's around here. LoL I used the spell check but the word was spelled right, just the wrong word. LOL It is a big model so I will have to find a place to store it, maybe same place as I keep the wench. LOL

Definitely a big gun! I've been tempted to tackle similar projects in the past but the lack of suitable real estate for the finished item has always served as a deterrent.

It is large, but not as big as you would think for this kit. Depending on how you display it, you really can shorten it up. Thanks for taking time to check my posting out.

Just got one question, how in God's Name do you load this beast?

That's a good question. Crane vehicle, I'm assuming?

I will post some pics today showing how it was loaded. There is a crane attached to the left side of gun that lifts the shell. Once lifted there is a cart that the shell is loaded onto and the rammed into the chamber.

No one can ever say that the Germans didn't know how to build a big gun! Looking good!
