Dierk, thank you mate! If the boot wasn't black that would be a cool idea. There you go, it's already pre-shaded

Surgery went well and took about 2 hours! The doctor had to graft a piece of tendon from another part of her foot to the tendon she cut because it retracted to far to be re attached. She's recuperating at her sons house about an hour from here as its a one story house and she'll be out of action for 4 weeks. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Bummer. She really need to NOT stress any of the tendon sutures for at least six weeks; they heal slowly. She needs to take her pain meds regularly for about the next three days or it'll be very unpleasant. That being said, good luck hope all turns out well.
You guys also really need to knock this nonsense off, it's bad for your health
Regards, Mark

Yikes! I just saw this thread... best wishes to her for a speedy recovery.
My brother dropped an X-acto once, and instinctively tried to catch it. Unfortunately his hand came down on the butt end of it just as the tip was going into his thigh. Shoved it in up to the hilt.

Talked to the Mrs a few minutes ago ! She saw the doctor today and is healing very nicely. No kind of pressure on her foot for at least 3 more weeks.I was informed that she has a total of 36 stitches.24 from where they had to reattach the tendon and 12 where they took a piece of tendon out for the reattachment. She told me she has Frankenstien foot now. LOL
