Andrew, this thing is a dinosaur now! I used to mark locations for drilling holes.you measure from the table to the tip for the hight you want and scribe a line like I did on the M. I'm a machinist by trade for the past 40 years.

Lookin` top notch there Leon Love that scribing tool.........might have to try and make my own but substitute the scribe for a pencil, this would be ideal for two-tone paint jobs on cars and also for marking out roof chops

Thank you Boots! Great idea you have with the pencil. Thought about taping a pencil to the scriber but was worried it move around.

Thank you Todd! It helps to get the painting done before the sun comes up and the Mrs starts with her honey do's. Looking good !!! It doesn't matter what time I get up..... I think my wife Tape's that list to my forehead around 2:45 A.M. ( I think it's why I'm always having the same dream about instruction sheets falling in my face........)

Oooooh, yeah...that's looking the part!
Were the SWAT vehicles modified much from military standard?

Thank you! As to your question,i dont think so.I would think just a police radio and some have additional lights and what looks like a different type of drive sprocket and rubber tracks. You can see that in the pic of the one i'm building.

Those are good colors for a police tact vehicle. All our SWAT trucks are semi gloss black. The 113's I have seen were usually two toned. Current ones would be painted in a subdued fashion. Looking good brother!
