Well, things have gone a bit quiet around here, so I thought I might chime in. While there are dumpster-style receptacles on this side of the pond (albeit maybe not named as such) what we do have in abundance are items known as "Skips". These come in a variety of sizes and shapes, but while rummaging through some wargaming scenery I came across one in 28mm (approx.1:55th scale): I wondered about it's suitability for conversion to a Mech of some sort. Courtesy of a friend with a massive stash of GW spare parts, I was able to mock this up on a temporary basis. Gentlemen, for your edification, the Fast Attack & Reconnaissance Transport :
