Evening fellas! Thought i would add the PE grills to the Panther to no avail.Seems they are for the G.I'm a little dissapointed at the moment.

Well that is unfortunate. I would hit sleazbay and see what you can dig up for a couple bucks. I don't think the sets are too much and you could probably hit the "free shipping tab" to boot!!

If you're only after the grills, Eduard has a product line called "ZOOM", with only the most essential content at a reduced price, also available for the Dragon "D". Aber from Poland makes a grilles only set for Dragon Panthers as well.

For those playing at home....and who don't PE if their lives depended on it.....what was the critical failure?
Leon if your "panther hunting" try these variants:

will a Panther A set work? None of my Dragon kits have the etch in the box, but have more than one set of A model. I'll keep looking, as I'd swear I have a couple sets for the D. Next place to look is in the cigar boxes. By the way if your doing a Kursk Panther; the stowage boxes are different from the kit. Much different! I think even the jack & tool placement is different from the later D models. gary

Hang tough Leon, worst comes to worst, you could cut up the PE to simulate "damaged" screens. HTH, Joel.

Gary, right! Just the grill covers. I have about a dozen Panthers. All are Dragon and Tamiya with the Revell BergPanther being the one exception. I have four Panther D kits. Two Tamiya and two Dragon kits. Neither Dragon kit came with etch. But the two Panther A kits came with etch. One kit has the Eduard etch as well. Somewhere there's a large cigar box full of etch. Even the Eduard zimmerit, but so far I can't find it. I look harder this weekend, as it's not far. But where? Found that most kits are Panther G's, and I know that won't work. gary
