A bit more work on the rust, glass and lots of weathering. All the painting and weathering is done using Vallejo Acrylics.

I'd say "excellent work", if it wasn't such an understatement.

Someone stole the air filter and carburetor while it was in the field, cuz, I didn't see it in the engine bay shots. ;<)

While others have mentioned dirtying up the spare, it could be taken a step further by removing most of the tread. You could even go so far as to creating a bald spot with the cord showing through. Just a thought .....

Cheers fellas. As for the spare tire it was only test fitted for location as is straight off the sprue....not painted or weathered. I have since painted and weathered the rim and some weathering on the tire.once glued in place it will get final dusting etc. These pics show more trash etc added to the rear bench area. The front bench area will get tackled next before adding the tire, which is not a VW spare tire but from a 37 Ford.

Here is what she looks like right now. As you can see, the tire is painted and not clean plastic off the sprue. Taking a break from the inside and will work the roof a bit more.

lol yeah not sure about that yet. Can't put too much clutter on it but a few items for sure. The next couple of junkyard cars will be next so I should start do a crap load of junk to save time later. Lots of cool videos on youtube I have been getting ideas from, here is just one of them. www.youtube.com/watch?v=92lROxoeeqUAlso know and saw a video of place in NH that Todd and I will have to make a roadtrip to and take tons of pics.

Thanks brotha. A fun project once I had all the life stress behind me. I should have her done tonight, then back onto the 37 Ford.
