Hi folks, after a while away from MSC I thought I share my lastest build with you. Tamiya’s IS-2. I bought this to rebuild the mojo after struggling with builds for a long time. i added some texture to the cast areas and swapped out the plastic grab rails for brass, also added an RB barrel. so build is complete and off to buy some black rattle can today. cheers Steve

Cool build. What's even cooler is that 3/4 view featuring the barrel...... man that sucker is big PJ2

It's nice when long-lost brothers return home. Cool build! That IS-3 is a beast.

Looking good! The texture and it’s huge gun will make it a good build!

Thanks for the kind words and warm welcome back fellas 😉 Painting update for you, black undercoat with white highlight Then colour base coat of home mixed three shades of Tamiya green on the superstructure and wheels followed by Tamy Dark Iron on the tracks, some overspill on other parts allowed Details to paint next before washes and weathering. ACW as ever 😎
