i like the tightness of the piece. it makes it feel like the close combat that these guys had to deal with. it makes the TD look much more "heavy" and bulky. ive always wanted to build on of these and yours makes it much harder not too! great work so far, and i cant wait to see how it will finally turn out. ok ok, after i wrote this i went back and looked it over again and this setup is just flippin great. add a couple of GIs and you have a real winner. it looks like something shep payne would come up with

Thanks gents Dirt, fixation, and figure start. Figures aren't too great but they should work 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 005 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr A 1 1/4" screw went a long way to flatten out the tracks Regards, Mark

Coming together nicely, the M10 has always had a special place for me as it was one of the first (and few!) Allied armor pieces I ever did...and it was the Academy kit. I still have it in the display case in fact.

Thanks Mike Sat myself down and ground out the figures, always been my least favorite part. Perhaps I can improve my dioramas by collaborating with someone who is good at painting them unlike myself. Finished. I call it "Mission objective achieved" 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 004 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Our mission hero 005 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr The wood surround for the base will have to wait; it's three degrees outside right now and I'm not going into the unheated garage and cut for an hour. For some reason. Regards, Mark
