Pretty cool.... I'll be watching.
One stupid question from a guy that hasn't built a "air-thingee" since the Reagan Administration.... Is the Revell kit just a copy of the old Monogram kit, or was it re-tooled revamped or even a new kit??? PJ2

Hell yeah! I will be following yo very closely. Many pics would be great. I started my B-24J build three years ago but it has been on hold ever since. However I am hoping to resume work on it soon!

I have not checked yet. It does remind me of the Monogram kits though.

I have the -24J kit as well and honestly it was a toss up between the two but this one will be the test run for the parts.

Something to look out for is the large amount of extra weight to prevent nose sitting. The easiest way is to box in the front wheel well and use bb's and epoxy.
Looks great as usual Joe. Pilots are really going to appreciate the comfort your seat will provide instead of that cheap knock-off that came with the kit!
Now although it may not look like it there is some progress. Work is continuing on the interior details and the placement. Of the work so far the focus has been on the cockpit, the nav station, and the radio equipment. A little has been accomplished in the bombadier station.
For this update let me let the pictures tell the story. Remembering all that is kit is the Gray plastic while all else is from myself.
Now the third image is the radio set and that even since the picture was taken has changed a bit. More on the next update.
