While I am not a member of a forums that span the internet or countless FB groups, I’ve noticed there are personal thing spoken about here that I just done see anywhere else. At least the places I go. I didn’t; know if I was sagging to say anything or not but I started to think about some of the online friendships I’ve made. Some carried over to here and many started here.
I have been diagnosed with an Adenocarcinoma at the point where the esophagus and stomach meet. I am still in the testing stage to see how big, how far advanced etc. This has been confirmed by a biopsy. The 1st CT scan shows that it is all contained. Great news. And I am going for a PET scan next week that, needless to say, hopefully will confirm that the initial great news s in fact, great news.
I am in good spirits… no not really… That’s a lie. GREAT spirits. Whatever it is, it is whatever it is and I will deal with it as it comes.

Sorry to hear the unfortunate news, I hope the prognosis continues to be a good one. I admire your spirit; it is important. Much as I dislike quoting a certain undersized and overrated Corsican, Napoleon did have a point when he said "The moral(e) is to the physical as three is to one". Internet friendships can be as real as any other sort, you will be in our thoughts (and for those so inclined, prayers).
Best Wishes,
M

Cheers yeah I remember you're leaving NJ... smart move ... didn't remember where though. My mom is in Terrell, about 1h40m east on I40 to the NW side of Lake Norman. I am on the 5 year "F" NJ plan.

A day late but I just cracked a jug of my favorite dago red here's to ya brother excellent news. You probably already know this but I gotta say it...If they want to surgically remove it, don't fart around, have it done and get rid of the dammn thing.

Glad to hear T3NO!!!!!! Just brought my mom (who just turned 70) in for results of her PET. 1.3CM something that lit up like rudolphs nose on the PET. She doesnt want to bother with a biopsy, co-existing medical issues. We do the SBCT??? the 19th and plan is for 5 radiation treatments after that, which they say will have little if any side effects as long as they dont burn the skin trying to hit the "tumor". Heres to both of you, for a full recovery!!!!!!
