I have a Hasegawa 1/32nd scale Peashooter sitting right in front of me. First time I've looked inside the box in many years. Decals were actually in better shape than expected, but for the most part unusable. Yellow wings has a couple options, but not really what I'm after. Did anybody else do decal sets besides Yellow Wings?
Next issue: Looking at photos of real Peashooters is the rigging. Was it round cable (wire rope) or flat steel? On the Hasegawa box, they show an extra set of cables that go from wing to wing and peak ontop a post. Would this be a radio mast? Most all pics don't show this on the airframe. Did (or does) anybody do a cockpit for this airframe? Also a resin wheel set. I did find out that there was two different rear wheel assemblies used, so you need to see what the individual aircraft used.
The Peashooter has got to be the sexiest aircraft ever produced. Just the wild paint schemes alone get it there! gary
