This is from an obscure series called Junk Tank Rock and were only available from a one day event called Wonder Festival held in Japan. This is a very limited run garage kit from the 2008-09 time frame. Maybe less than 100 were ever kitted. The designs only exist as kits; there was never an anime or manga but the line has had influence far beyond it's limited run. You know those wasteland airplane/cars you see online and at model shows? That was started with this series. The cockpit hatch was molded closed so I ground out the resin bits and replaced with some styrene strip stock and an SU-152 hatch which is what the resin kit had. There is a small interior and I plan on a figure standing in the hatch. The vehicle is impossibly small but still cool. It was only 13 pieces so went together quickly. I have built a few others if you are curious about other designs in the line. Taco BeetleLT5 Kncka

That Taco Beetle design looks very Ma.K inspired...this one, not so much!
Certainly don't see these on contest tables too often. Heh.

Now that turned out really nice, amazing how much of a difference the combination of a paint scheme and ground setting can bring something like this alive.

That is really nicely done. Love the way the bushes have gotten tangled up in the feet/legs. Nice touch.
