Leon Another great addition! At this rate you'll be up for beating Dupes' record!!
Out of interest what's prompted the journey down modelling's very own Civvy Street?

Thank you Andrew! When i first started modeling ages ago this is what i started doing. Life has a way of traveling in circles! I started out doing almost exclusively aircraft as a kid complete with the inevitable series of fiery ends for some of those projects.

Thank you Andrew! When i first started modeling ages ago this is what i started doing. Life has a way of traveling in circles! I started out doing almost exclusively aircraft as a kid complete with the inevitable series of fiery ends for some of those projects. A number of my old AFVs i built as a kid found themselves being used as target practice for a mate's air rifle. 😯 It was quite interesting to see that even with the apparent mismatch just how well the sloped armour on the front of the Panther worked, at least for a couple shots....😋

Thanks Joel! This is how i started out modeling. Tobias, that i am! Not a lot of parts to work with like armor and i don't have to worry about a million road wheels and tracks.

O.K., where did this one sneak in from? And you've wired the motor and plumbed the carbs - you've certainly raised your game! Now that they're on, you might wish to go back and give the fuel lines a touch of colour to make them stand out; if you've got it, flaunt it!
Cheers,
M

Nice build, but you could have gone a bit more ghoulish. You need a friend with a Games Workshop Warhammer 40,000 Imperial army (or - better yet - just the Gothic-style scenery); then you'd be able to scrounge all the left-over skulls, cowled and robed skeletons, etc. Well, that's what I do...
Cheers,
M

Some older kits included skellies; Rommel's Rod, Monogram's Boot Hill Express and Lil' Coffin (the latter looks as if it doesn't really need it, but does look as if it might appeal to you). There's a 1:24th skeleton from Shapeways, but no individual figure in that scale is cheap. Halloween's coming up soon, wait until 1st November when all related products are remaindered...
Cheers,
M

It is a good year so far! I really needed a break from armor.Besides no tracks and small pieces to full with.

I just found the build thread for this on another board. Clucking Bell, Leon! I had no idea just how much work you'd put into building this beast! That's a whole package of new modification skills you've developed that are on display, but it isn't apparent because all the various components look like they belong there! I was thinking it was just one of those kits you've been building that come out of the box ready customised: the fact that it looks like a professionally designed production item speaks volumes for your techniques! Sorry if I'm overdoing the exclamation marks but this post needs them... Respect,
M

You are what I would call a well rounded "paint sniffer". I haven't touched a windshield for a kit in forever. I wouldn't know how to weather it, HA! Fine work Leon!

Is that the classic "Old Mold" AMT '57? I think I have a Matchbox boxing of it in brown plastic from way-back-when. I thought it had gone away for good when the "new" super-duper tool version came out. Has it been released (or escaped) again? Nice work anyway, looks good for an old lady (if that's what it is).
Cheers,
M
