Hey everyone, I hope all is well. I finally got back into the mood to model and started with a F-15 Hasegawa Egg F-15 with Retro Wings Engine and Cockpit kits. Its a simple model, but the retro wings parts come with very vague directions so bare with me..
The cuts in the cockpit are where im going to hollow it out so I can fit the retro wings cockpit. its really detailed considering this is a simple kit.. see below.
Heres the cockpit with the seat from retrowings (they're separate pieces), the back part is the air brake compartment, I will be cutting the top to open the air brake.
Heres the instrument panel
Heres the Retro Wings Engine
The small parts to add...
After Small parts. I know some of them aren't perfectly straight. I may or may not have had a few drinks when I decided to do this...
Thats it thus far.... Will post more soon. Going to make it look like its flying by inserting a bent brass rod in a base and using cotton for smoke. should be fun.
Glad to be back.

The instructions reference Aqueos Hobby color, and Mr. Color paints. I didn't want to buy new paints just for this small model but I don't seem to have any Tamiya that are close. Which brand should I get or are they both comparable? Im used to working with Tamiya.
