So in my eager to get going on chips and scratches and eventually some weathering , I totally forgot one of the first steps I usually do... Wash. And also sometimes even a more fun part , oil dot fading .. Might have been the heat ( +30c when at this stage ) ore lack of norwegian milk chocco ( supply is running low) ore a massive brain fart anyway, all can be hidden under a massive layer of durt and dust A little speckling . First a lighter tone of main color . mixed 50/50 paint / thinner and slowly add small splashes . Do same with rust, and after add and build up layers of 'speckling of varoius dirt tones

Before Oils and Pigments After ( ore during wip ) I really like to play with the oils, so much fun creating and build up layers of dirty spots

So thats where I'm at at the moment . Not so much of a build tread as it was prebuilt , and no major teardown was needed before repaint/weathering .
along with painting and such I enjoy maiking my own soundsets for the tanks when they are ready for usage . Here are 2 examples of my russian sounds
thanks for watching , more to come
