Really a 2020 purchase, but no where to put it. Picked up the Dragon 250/7 half track and the Opel 1.5 ton truck from Revell today. Lhs had them in a 20% off sale. I had the truck kit before, and it's very nicely detailed. Want to do a really beat up one maybe towing a PAK 40 or 38. Gary

Well it appears that I'm loosing the only hobby shop within fifteen miles of the house! They're offering 20% off of anything, and a few times they're cheaper than Spru Brothers! I'll miss them! I did get a 1/48 Blenheim Mk. I I ordered, and bought a Hasegawa Brewster 229 double kit at 50% off. They should have done this kit in 1/48 scale, or better yet 1/32. Gary

For those Later Roman infantry, this is probably the best source for different patterns for shields:
The two castle sets being made up from modular components you can combine these as you please to create one large fortification of your own design. A little research should give you ideas for a more realistic layout than those proposed by MiniArt. You will probably need a fairly thick base for the finished item so you can incise dry ditches or wet moats as needed.

M
