Morning everyone. Does anyone have the P-51 Mustang book written by Robert Dorr? I believe it is under the Warbird History series by Motorbooks International. It looks like an interesting read, but I can not find any substantive reviews or recent ones. Since I picked up Airfix's 1/48 P-51D, I am looking for some more information on this subject. Thank you everyone.

I do not know anything about the book, however, I can give you some recommendations depending on what information you are looking for. For example; for detailing photos, the Detail and Scale volume is one of the best. Hope this helps, Joel.

it very much does. At some point I am going to build a plane from the 332 FG. Looking for some really good walk arounds and details. Ecspecially on the top of the wings. Thank you for the suggestion.

An additional help can be found in the Osprey Tuskegee Airmen book. It has side views of all the famous aircraft, plus some of the lesser known ones. Check over on hyperscale.com for a set of drawings of the puttied areas on the top and bottom. The general consensus is on the top of the wings is every panel line with the exception of the ammo/gun bays, and on the bottom every thing but the gear bays and the two panels for the wing fuel cells. Hope this helps, Joel.
