How did I miss this??? I'm with you on Tamiya kits being nice n' easy. I really like it when Tammy has an aircraft kit that I like.

That looks fine. You can use it as a reference to show your improvement. I have been redoing a couple of my first tanks myself. Strip what I could of the paint, add some PE screens and repaint. Its fun cause it is already built so that part is done.

Its fun cause it is already built so that part is done. As I've progressed in modeling, I've taken apart early builds ( like 35+ year old kits) and have redone them just as you are saying. It's not only fun but it's a trip down memory lane.
