This is a build I started about 8 years ago , an Italian Tank, Fiat Ansaldo, Carro Armato "M13/40", in 1/35 scale, made by Italaerei. It's a very old kit that I picked up at an estate sale about 15 years ago. I actually started the build back in March of 2015, so it’s kinda fitting to get back into it this month! Back in 2015, I had put it back in the box after some assembly, of which I have no recall on why I didn't finish it. Which brings me back to today Since retiring last March, I'm no longer totally bogged down and exhausted from a work-a-day life, and I've slowly been decompressing this past year and regaining my desires for my hobbies, model building being chief among them. As I looked through my stash, I could have dug out a fresh model, untouched; but upon seeing my unfinished P-51D Mustang and this oldie, I figured it'd make a nice reentry vehicle, along with the Panzer IV. I've not decided what scheme to go with yet, but my initial gut reaction is a unit that fought in 1941 Greece? I'm coming to that conclusion based on having noted a picture of a tank from that timeframe and front which was darker in color, rather than the typical desert sand you normally see.I’ll figure that out after she’s built! The plan of action also includes being placed on a diorama.

I'll be glued to the set for this one Emery!!! I've got a build or two that I had to dig back out after a few years myself so I get it. Looking forward to this buddy.

Despite the age of the kit this looks pretty good in your pictures.

Good start.
Always fancied doing one of these because they look a little different.

Congratulations on the decompression, one of these days I'll jump off the hamster wheel.
Looking forward to seeing how this build goes, some of those older Italian kits are labors of love.
