That is an AWESOME kit. Fit is EXCELLENT, almost to good in places. Well engineered. Mine lost a battle with my mind, I was overwhelmed by my brother with all the scratchbuilding details I needed to make it a perfect kit. Instead of politely telling him to pack sand my model took the brunt of anger. I however intend to replace with the summer release of this kit with winterketten....and MAYBE a figure. I apologize for the blubbering. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Looks like you are off to a solid start. Is this your first 1/16th kit? Given the large scale, does it change your approach on detailing vs something in 1/35?
I've always thought the larger scale would allow for greater detailing, but that's just a pre-conceived notion I have, not sure if it would be true.

There is plenty of detail on the outside. Don't let the nut counters throw you off.

Yes greater detailing is possible and my be required, but like I said you only need to detail what can be seen.

This is gonna be epic!!! These large scale tracks would send me into sensory overload with all of the detailing that could be done to them. Looking very much forward to seeing what you do here with this one Terry!
As Steve said....."bookmarked"

OH COOL! It is so big but being one of the smaller pieces of armour of the era so small at the same time. Judging from the previous work this is going to be spectacular.

First paint..... Wow! That thing even has some good detail for the torsion bars!! I have nightmares in regards to broken torsion bars as I've done my fair share of them on M88's in the field when I was on an 88 crew. Sucks......ROYALLY!!

Hey Terry, thinking your figure looks alot like the Belushi guy, Johns brother, Jim?, anyway love what I am seeing on your Stug. I have aquired another Stug in a " game of chance" and secured the winterketten tracks. Now I'm slowly searching for 1/16, 120mm figs to populate for a winter tank riders scene. Keep up the awesome insperational work good sir.

Looking great Terry! It is really great to see that you are still here. I always wanted this kit but I am not sure if I have space for it at the end/
