I really enjoy seeing stuff like this. Definite eye candy!! Had to ask my wife to take the picture since we were driving. Got up beside it but she was not fast enough to get the side view. That little sign above the jerry can is for a used car dealer. I said I should give them a call and see if for sale but the response I got from her showed me there was no hope.

Saw this at the local grocery store a couple of weeks ago. A lot of folks consider this era of the T/A & Camaro to be the ugly ducklings of the bunch but I've always had an affinity for them as I cut my teeth in the automotive industry on these. At the time, the LS1 just couldn't be beat in terms of power and ease of repair/ maintenance. A dang near perfect powerplant. 2002 35th Anniversary Trans Am. In the following video you'll see a late 90's / early 2000's Camaro lift the tires and go 8.95 seconds at 149 mph on the STOCK BOTTOM END. I've seen numerous accounts of this and can attribute this quality to the 6 bolt mains, cracked rod end cap mating surfaces on the connecting rods and one tough OEM crankshaft. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cq3o1isp-I&t=18s

Impressive! That's a lot of power on a stock block.

Impressive! That's a lot of power on a stock block. They can take it. Very stout bottom ends on these things.

Machines and animals? How about a machine animal: Where in the world did you take that picture at Neal? A couple of blocks away from the Freemont Experience in Vegas. I should have brought along some horn-rimmed glasses and had my friend do a video of me pointing in an exaggerated pose, gasping "Aaaaah, it's a monstah!"

Had a gentleman walk in the hardware store yesterday and ask if I could make him some keys. I said sure and asked what he had. He handed me a set of keys that evidently belonged to an older model Dodge. I asked what year and model of car they went to. A '68 Dodge Coronet with a 440 in it. That peeked my interest. Lo and behold we actually had blanks for it so I made him his keys. He asked me if I wanted to see it as he had it out front. Hell Yeah!!! And then....DUDE!!!!

I only had enough time to step out, have a quick look and snap a photo. I would have liked to look under the hood and inside. It was definitely stopping a few customers in their tracks as they were coming and going.

That is quite the cool and unique collection. Do you happen to know what those black, pink and yellow cars are? I do not recognize them.

We moved from CA to AZ in early 2020, but before then, one of my bike riding routes took me by Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station, where San Diego ported ships of the Pacific Fleet would come in to upload munitions before setting out on a deployment, or offload those munitions upon return from deployment. I remember working on these things when they were brand new. The only thing that I never saw till you posted it was a blue one. The dealership that I worked at in Carrolton at the time refused to sell any blue ones for some reason. Hot cars man.....hot cars.

I wouldn't worry about that. I don't think that stuff was worth all that much HP anyhow. Still all stock or any mods?
