Without question one of the best schemes for this tank. Did you paint it, or decals?

Man, what a beautiful job. That paint scheme is WOW and the weathering is perfect.
Bravo!

Did you paint it, or decals? I have one of these in my stash. I think you will find that the answer to your question is... Yes.

Many thanks guys! Of all my Patton tanks built, this one is my favorite for paint jobs.
@tobi, the Tiger is a combination of paint work and decals. The basic colors are all painted, but the claws, eyes, and mouth are decals. Which didn’t quite perform as they should have, so there was lots of touch up work on those areas.
Tcoat nailed it… it was both 😏 Let’s say about 85% paint and 15% decals. And you’ll enjoy the build when you get around to the one in your stash.

Great job again stik. I also have this tank in the build pile. I'm going to use your pics as a good reference point.

Thanks Gary. There is a great blog article on Operation Ripper, and all the various “Tiger” tanks used for that period in Korea, with lots of photos and video links. Operation Ripper
