WOW, I am so excited to see this GB come along! …I’ve been itching to do a non-military vehicle subject for awhile now. I used to build a lot of civies back in my pre-teens and teens, but the last one has to be somewhere around the very early 1970s! They were always extremely fun to build, but my paint skills were pretty rough, hahaha. I think this is a great opportunity to slip back into the fast lane! I can purchase something more along the lines of street and race vehicle show, but I do have this little baby I literally just picked up on a 1-day vacation trip to Rockport, Massachusetts, last weekend in a nifty little toy store… would this meet the GB guidelines?  I wasn’t sure what “crossovers” meant, but perhaps this qualifies. I was a HUGE Speed Racer fan as a kid, and my buddies and I would head out on our bicycles after the airing and race like fools around town! I just thought it was one of the coolest cars ever! If it doesn’t quite meet the criteria, no problem… I don’t want to derail the intent of this GB, so I can always scare something up. |

Went to Atco in N.J for the Nostalgia Funny Car meet with my Pinto B/FC only to find the track was shut down July 17 by the N.J. E.P.A. so went to a hobby shop I passed and bought two kits. This will be my build as a S/SCA  Hosted on Fotki |

Would it be frowned upon to start a second group build, build while my first is still going on? See, I had forgotten that I also needed to build my Dad’s birthday present so it got bumped up the order quickly and I have some photos of it…Tbird still on the bench too, no worries there.

it’s a good thing it took this old guy awhile to put his red hot amd roll’n builds on the bench because he didn’t understand How to post them up until a few weeks ago lol
Finished up my ipms builds this weekend so back to my publicly available content! 😂 now to decide if i start with the Camaro or the dragster…check out the boards to see what wins out 🍿

So for boss’ day the team got me the Digger. They said “you don’t have this do you?” Nope but i have something similar and this is gonna make a great vignette with that extra 3d printed christmas tree i bought! I bet you can imagine the setting…  |
