Looks cold and miserable there. Beautiful paint work on those figures!

That is indeed some good paint work on those figures Mike. This scale pretty much equals out to a 1/56 ish scale making these figures pretty small as well as tedious to work with. Excellent work.

Thanks. And you are right, they can be tedious. I work on these and the terrain features either between other builds or as a break from a build. The trees on the terrain base are twigs from a bush, I have to work on my birch bark. The base itself is an old CD. At some point I will put a touch of built up snow on the figure bases themselves, but this is my first time trying snow so I'm a little apprehensive of ruining my figures.

Mike is one of the better figures painters I know, and I’ve never seen any of his work that was short of outstanding! His bases are always top notch and again, among the best I see done every single time. The CD as the ground base support is just frickin’ brilliant!!!
The Winter coats are fantastic on these sculpts and I love your choice of OD and weathering. How you achieve those shadows just baffles me, man… gorgeous! The attention to detail is great…the wreathing on the helmets are something too many mini builders miss, but you nail them every time! Great work!

Reminds me of the old days living in cold Buffalo. Nice job!

Sorry for being so late but I just saw this.
