I know I am a minority but I love a good OOB build. Especially one that looks that good under just basic paint. Some minor additional highlighting and weathering and that thing will pop! That is a candidate for a tinted Future treatment if I ever saw one!

TC and John, thank you.
TC, I may just go a minimalist weathering route to match the Gulf War Challenger that I built years ago. But it certainly needs more stowage, being an infantry carrying vehicle. They tend to get loaded down with all sorts of gear…🤨
John, I do like the look of the Warrior. Good low silhouette and menacing look.

Just need to avoid hovering ALICE packs like my Bradly build has! modelerssocialclub.proboards.com/thread/13909/m2a2-bradly-tamiya-oob

I really like it! You had me fooled that I thought it was a Bradley for a minute. I had no idea how close Warrior looks similar to Bradley except for its smaller turret if I am correct? I have so much to learn cause I am not really into modern armored vehicles that much.

Thanks Andy. I'll get a photo of the Bradley and Warrior side by side up for a comparison. The Warroer has a lower silhouette, and flatter look overall.

Thanks Leon…but neither one has any weathering besides what they got from sitting on my shelves over the past 20 (Warrior) to 30 (Bradley) years…

Is the warrior to replace the Bradley? Seems very similar. And your pics are just awesome.

Thanks Ogre!
John, the Warrior is the UK equivalent to the Bradley, filling the same role in their Mech & Armored units. As far as photos go, thanks to my youngest for the light booth, and Bruce tutoring me how to get the most from my phone camera.

WOW! Thank you for sharing the pic of both being next to each other. That explains why you had me fooled earlier that I thought it was a Bradley. Warrior is definitely just smaller but with much smaller turret.

Well, if you look at the two turrets carefully, you see major differences. The Warriors gun housing is more pronounced instead of being within the turret. No ATGM launcher on the basic Warrior turret, and less turret frontal area as well. Remove the armored TOW box from the Bradley and the turrets look closer in overall size. The enclosed bustle rack on the Bradley makes that area look bigger compared to more open rod & mesh…
