Working on the lower half tonight, road wheels and all that good stuff. The base is a piece of terrain made in an old CD for 28mm wargames but it works for this in a jiffy. Just to show what I'm thinking.

Thanks! The trees are pieces of a dead and dried out lilac bush painted up.

Dirtying up the Jagdpanzer. I came across 2 different figures to put in the loaders hatch. First guy looks like he's wearing sunglasses! May have to repaint.

Great looking build in a very challenging scale. I like the 1st figure more than the 2nd one.

Great looking build in a very challenging scale. I like the 1st figure more than the 2nd one. Thanks! And I agree about the figure. #1 is a 20mm wargaming piece from the long gone Battlefield Miniatures set and is pewter while #2 is from Italeri's Pak40.

Sweet! I love how the weathering process can tone down and blend the camo paint together!

Good looking finish! Now I’m curious to see the base that you will come up with.

That's quite the finish on such a small scale Mike. You sure put alot into a small package with this build and brought 'er home nicely. It would be pretty cool to see this in a setting alright so if you do decide to put this in a diorama I'd for sure be interested in seeing that. Thank you for sharing the build and the techniques along the way Mike.

Mike, I finally found this and I'm amazed at the incredible detail you've done. Way to go on a magnificent build! Thanks for the memories as well. What a great model. By the way, the black tracks you stapled do hold together if glued with Testor's orange tube glue. Mine are still together with no issues. Just so you know with the next Trumpeter/Hobby Boss kit.
Looking forward to seeing your next model!

You did an excellent job on this! Looking at how small that is in your hand...wow, I just can't imagine the skill it takes to build something so good-looking and that small. Kudos.

Thanks for the tip, I would have never figured that out in a million years. I can't remember the last time I bought tube glue, will have to put that on my supply list.

Oh Sweet! I found your outstanding 1/72 Jagdpanzer IV. You have done a remarkable job on this small guy. Excellent paint and weathering. The tracks look good also. Love your diorama for it as well as the figures. Those figures are nicely painted for the scale by the way. Great work on such a small platform. Bravo!

Trumpeter kit. Nice quick build. Going good so far and these rubber band tracks are pretty darn decent, although the instructions say they glue together with hobby glue, that's funny. I actually got them back together with the staples the instruction sheet is put together with. The fit was pretty tight so I soaked the tracks in hot water for 5 minutes or so for a little more workability. They went on fine then. I love the reuse or the instructions’ staples!!! MAGNA would be proud of you (inside joke between me and Mike!), the soaking of the rubber track is an awesome tip! …be sure to post that in a modeling Tips & Techniques at the our other haunt
