That is a well executed rear panel. All of your efforts there have paid off handsomely. I like the idea of leaving the pipes a bit rough for rust effects. Well done.

You’re making the old Tamiya “dog” into quite the show dog! Sweet!

All that may have been trying on your patience but all the efforts sure paid off Martin. It's really cool to see you building an armor subject. I never thought you would've done anything like this but you're definitely good at it.

I hope you don't mean splayed out flashy aftermarket rims and flared Schürzen... I should have guessed you'd go for a Panther as there are photos of them slammed into the weeds. Unfortunately this isn't a cool styling choice by the crew but because it caught fire, the early ones could do this themselves, unprompted and without outside assistance. The heat ruined the temper of the torsion bars and it rode lower than a Japanese Itasha while simultaneously gaining a fashionable "Rat Rod" patina...
Cheers,
M

I take it by ghe white flag emoji that PE has become that neccessary evil we all have issues with. Don't worry, take a styrene break, fiddle with plastic for a bit relax those fingers, clean the optivisor, have a coffee to steady and hit it like the maniac you are. Great job on your first armor build Martin. Good to see a " vintage" kit brought up to standard by capable loving hands. P.S. if ya got ant PE ya wanns get rid of....I know a guy LOL.

I can see where it would be easy to confuse that with the exhaust pipes and that's definitely a good shot of it with the rust/ burnt paint on the exhaust pipes clearly shown. Thanks for sharing that Tobi.
