WOW! Stunning! You nailed it with the building and weathering on this one! I really like the scratch built fender box and other details. Now I am banging my head onto the desk because I regret selling that kit several years ago... oh well!

Gorgeous work! I do love the lived in touches such as the radio headset, bucket full of grenades, and the open mess tin. The light muddied look tops it all off just right.

It can be hard to pull off that lived in but not messy look. The most realistic thing about the whole layout to me is the open box with the tarp sticking out. I get the whole "meh good enough" feeling from the crew that you would see in the field even today. These dudes are not getting ready for a parade just trying to make the best of things.

Thank you all. All that etch work was quite a job to do and all the complexity of open top vehicle needed some extra planning. For some times I thought that I must be crazy of doing this. Btw I made the mess tin handle workable..

Yeah, it’s always fun trying to decide how to load up an open topped APC type vehicle… the kits rarely provide any of the good stuff that ends up in those.

That,s true. Reference photos helps a lot and sometimes shows you funny and strange items loaded in it.
