LOTS of tonal variations of the same color are bringing that chassis to life Rod! I try to do the same thing with black. Flats here, semi glosses here and there and glossed areas sparingly.
Very good build up and painting brother.

Looking sharp - great progress. Even though I have this kit in the stash, I didn't realize it's a curbside. Should make for a quicker build I suppose. I have a set of the Forgeline wheels that come with this kit for my 1:1 Boss302. I pinged Tamiya for another set for my Boss302 model kit I have so I can do a replica of my car and they sent them for no charge! The entire sprue. Great service.

What a genius looking build Rod. This has got to be one of the best build ups of this kit that I've seen. To start with, the color sets it apart. And then there's all the details and decaling involved. A truly magnificent auto build on every single level.
I'm going to get a Red Hot & Rollin' Completed Builds Thread going in the Gallery section soon for everyone who's completed a build this weekend and I'm going to love putting this one in there. Great work and happy that you participated in the GB buddy.
