Wow. I am thinking this is way too fancy for my arthritic fingers. Great job. You and I both! Add a shaky hand and this hobby gets tough every now and then.

This build just came to an abrupt end. The red camo was splotchy and I couldn’t control the paint/airbrush/pressure mixture like I wanted and the whole thing became a softball-like projectile. I usually become shameful of myself after an episode like this which brings about the feelings guilt and shame of destroying a kit that so many folks enjoyed watching. It really does eat me up inside. Normally I would try to hide some thing like this. I’m writing this so maybe I’ll remember the embarrassment and put the kit back on the shelf until I’m ready to fix what I saw as something that wasn’t 100% perfect. I’m a personification of the old adage, “The artist is his own worst critic.” 😞

Believe me pal.....I've had my fair share of setbacks and somehow....things always seem to straighten out at some point. Hang in there brother.

This one is a lost cause unfortunately. I should have just put it on the shelf for later. The guilt is slowly ebbing and I’m looking for my next WIP. Halftrack, armored car, tank, soft skin, who knows. 😀

So sorry to read that you are dealing with this. I have gone thru many setbacks for last 5 years and I completely understand how it feels like when you get to the next stage. Take a deep breath and go away for few days maybe watch few eposides of Band of Brothers until you are ready to tackle it again. I really enjoyed following your build because I couldn't finish mine so maybe we can help each other finish ours when we are ready?

We’ll get these Sturms across the finish line!
