Cool! Big fan of Sam. And, little known fact, we were born in the same hospital - Sutter Memorial in Sacramento. Loved him as Sergeant Major Plumley in We Were Soldiers.

hi all so I paint my figures in Scale 75 acyclic paints and I have the full range including some of the fantasy game and military war front range plus full set of artist range. weather its busts or for military figures for dioramas so the figure was painted light grey showing light source when hat is fitted so the coat was painted in a dark grey then added some black for the shadows then started to glaze using a lighter colour by adding a touch of white, finally a dry brush gently of a very light grey. shirt was basically grey base working up to white. neck scarf well I been copying a picture found it was a reddish brown colour so chose so colours from the fantasy games and Arabia shadow for the base along with very blackish red. hope you like it so far next the hat , Ossie

He looks great so far.
Maybe one of the best cowboy actors ever.
Played John Buford in Gettysburg Virgil Earp in Tombstone The guide in 1883 The Shadow Riders
Probably more, but not coming to mind,he's pretty ubiquitous in those westerns

His voice just screams "pickup truck"! He has done it so many times that it is a pop culture joke. Meg Truck

Looks like Sam. He has a ranch alledgedly in Western Montana and has been sited in Coeur d' Alene Idaho. Pretty nice guy from what I've heard. Never been interested in trying a bust however the magic people do with them...I stand slack jawed, this is no exception. Well done.
