Hello, my latest project that I started some time ago. The old Tamiya kit, with aluminum barrel, etched parts and new tracks, as a 105 W version. I got some literature this time too and according to the books there were probably previous training versions which were basically modernized, so mine is supposed to represent a vehicle like that. He turns olive green and is not supposed to belong to a specific unit. /had searched aftermarket decals but couldn't find anything suitable. The first parts also fit together quite well, the Rey Field chain took a lot of work.

I always enjoy a Sherman project! You're off to a quick start on the hull and tracks!

Looking good already. The Sherman is actually the only armor kit I have in my stash. No idea what to do with it. Will be watching along with interest.

Were any of the 105mm M4s built with the 47* small hatch hull aside from any prototypes? I was under the impression that all productions 105mm gunned Shemans had the large hatch 57* welded hulls.

Outstanding attention to detail on this Chris. It's all these little things that add up to make a truly great build. I still can't get over all the work on the tracks.

Looking great! I love all the PE and detail. Tamiya kits are great with one exception, their Sherman kits don't have the sponsons panels and you have to add them.

All of this PE looks nothing short of outstanding and is really going to set this build up off well once the paint starts flying. Great work on this bud.
