Thanks for checking in on this build guys. Since white metal can be bent fairly easily, I checked the frame for straightness using the engine block. Then I got the basic engine parts cleaned up and assembled. Since the frame was good to go, I primed then sprayed it with Tamiya TS-41 Coral Blue 81

You're making this look too easy! Believe me, it's not that easy. Thanks Kyle Thank you Brent The most difficult part of this build is the chain. I started at 2:08 PM and finished at 7:48 PM, but with a couple of breaks to rest my eyes and nerves. Those damn side plates are tiny !! 169

Oh my... the wire wheels, the chain, the engine assembly so much fine detail. Assembly does look trying though but the results are phenomenal.

That chain looks more than extremely difficult to assemble. But the results are just off the scale awesome!

I've been mostly out of action for the last few days and in particular yesterday due to only having two hours of sleep on Wednesday night but I'm back in action today and pretty much fully rested to see this beauty in action. Your persistence in working with that chain and the spokes is truly an amazing thing in itself. Things like that just help the realism factor along to build up into some good outcomes. I'm looking forward to seeing these detailed pieces on the assembled bike Paul.

It's just a matter of one step at a time. And a bucket of patience That chain looks more than extremely difficult to assemble. But the results are just off the scale awesome! Thanks. And yes the chain is a pain to assemble, especially since I had to adlib on the assembly procedure I've been mostly out of action for the last few days and in particular yesterday due to only having two hours of sleep on Wednesday night but I'm back in action today and pretty much fully rested to see this beauty in action. Your persistence in working with that chain and the spokes is truly an amazing thing in itself. Things like that just help the realism factor along to build up into some good outcomes. I'm looking forward to seeing these detailed pieces on the assembled bike Paul. Thanks Joe. This is my inspiration. MFH gives you a white metal form to make your own carb screens. The first didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, but that's OK since it will be buried inside and no one will be able to see it. With the engine ready, it was time to install it. Then shocks and rear wheel. I also got the body work painted. To get the stripes, I first sprayed those parts with TS-41 Coral Blue. Then I masked the stripe with a thin piece of tape and sprayed the parts with Testor's Sterling Silver Metallic. 226

I like the whole white metal for the intake screen and what I'm really liking is how that Yuasa battery turned out Paul. All coming together nicely to make for a great build up.

Thank you Kyle This is really flying along! I love the color choice of this one for sure. The striped bodywork looks terrific! Thanks. I got the color idea from a Duc I found on the internet. I like the whole white metal for the intake screen and what I'm really liking is how that Yuasa battery turned out Paul. All coming together nicely to make for a great build up. Thanks Joe. The screen is actually steel mesh. And the battery will be covered up by the bodywork unfortunately This looks amazing. Almost more like a 1:1 than a model. Excellent work so far.๐ Thank you very much Wow, Paul! You work so fast, and at a high level. This already looks great. Thanks. I'm retired, so I have ample time available to build. I spent the day on little details like the petcocks and the zipper on the seat cushion. Also got the upper forks installed and the clutch cable . So here is where I'm at so far. Next will be to turn the vac form windscreen into something acceptable. 316

Continuing to kick a$$ and take names on this one Paul. I hear you on the battery and I'm afraid I'm used to stuff like that. In building aircraft I tend to put alot of detailing into cockpits and then comes the dreadful moment.....putting the fuselage halves together to cover alot of that said detail up.

Today was fairly productive. I got the lower forks, exhaust, taillight and various cables installed. The windscreen needs a little more touch-up, but essentially done. 373
