Wasn't sure where to put this old girl but it is "Axis armour". Sort of. Let's see if I can pump out one more shelf queen in 2023.  This has been sitting started for a couple of years now. Not a lot to it.  Just enough paint and engine assembled so it isn't body color where you can see through the exhaust cut outs.  Bottom is now grey. Didn't worry about perfect coverage since it will have the expected overspray from field applied yellow.  and all painted.    |

I tried it once, got hung up on " over detail" and forgot to just have fun with it. Love this kit, enjoy Tony.

I tried it once, got hung up on " over detail" and forgot to just have fun with it. Love this kit, enjoy Tony. This will be OOB with basic weathering so details and any form of accuracy is waved away. I did have Bare Metal Foil on the trim on the side but didn't like it so pulled it off.    |

It was a long time ago, some joker distracted me with " How you going to do the ribs?" I started thinking...bad thing for me....and the model ended up somewhere, glad I'm becoming less concerned with what other people think and enjoying the build more.
Looking forward to seeing this one complete, such a cool kit..so many dio options.....or not.

Yep it is a hotrod limo halftrack combo with some nice bright chrome and two animated skeletons so I am not going to worry much about some ribs no matter who may bring it up. It actually is a pretty cool little kit with some well thought out "details" molded on and really nice fit. Step one for weathering is a light overall wash with tinted future. Just wanted a few streaks and blotches to break up the monotone and accent panel lines and raised details. Next up will be decals as I am not going to beat this thing up to much more.    |

This kit has a couple of pretty nice 1/2? scale MG34s.  You could almost mistake the thing for a serious vehicle until the decals go on and the skeletons are in place. The decals are hilarious.   |

Skeleton evolution Forgot to take a picture but base of Tamiya primer  Base paint of details  Over all coat of tinted future to knock down white and bring out details   And finished with dullcoat to bring down wash.   |
