1/24(ish) Monogram Rommel's Rod

This is the 2018 re release of the old classic kit. I started it in 2019 and it has been a Closet Queen until this week. It is a fun little build right out of the box but you could go nut's with "detailing" if so inclined. This is completly OOB with nothing added at all. If you have this kit or run across it and have any interest at all in doing "armour" without fear of being told you have the wrong type wheel for the serial number of the vehicle this is a great little side project.
It is a BLAST.

You did this so quick I missed the build thread. This looks fantastic and I bet it was a lot of fun to build as well

About 8 hours over two days to get paint on and do final assembly. The original assembly was probably only an hour so this should be an easy weekend build for anybody that does it OOB.

Turned out awesome! Such a super fun and quick little build! I’ll continue to Lee my eyes peeled for one of these. This one, the Mack beer wagon and the Boot Hill I have always coveted.

The only one of these I built as a kid was the beer truck. Was probably one of the last models I built in '72 or so before switching to real cars. No idea what ever happened to it.
