I'm glad we have two years! Not my typical scale or genre, but looking forward to this monster. My son-in-law road around Afghanistan in one of these with the 10th Mountain. Gonna need a bigger bench... Big! Sitting next to a 1/35 Italeri Commando Car I've got a couple kits ahead of this.

I know that they make all sorts of 3-D printed gear in 1/35... I bet that it can be easily scaled up to 1/16. You're gonna be looking for at least a SINCGARS radio with speakers and a FBCB laptop toughbook console.

Wouldn't almost be easier to go find a Geek Squad member and buy from Best buy? Might get a warrenty...handy in a war zone LOL. I've heard good thing about Shapeways let me know what you think John, if you go that route.

I've picked up some ship detail parts from Model Monkey via Shapeways. The quality is pretty nice, very crisp detailing.

all you need now is the Blufor tracker... aka FBCB tough book... plus the assorted antennas for all the systems... that is, if the kit does not provide them.

That's CRAZY about the missing radio gear especially when you consider how much this kit costs. I mean, lucky for you the kit was a gift but Trumpeter is usually pretty fair about throwing the details into a kit. I can't imagine how much all of the AM goodies set you back. WOW!!

It does have that part It has all the whip antenna mounts but not the antennas. There are a couple other substantial antennas. Any tips on make the whips that change to a smaller diameter about 1/2 up? I have plenty of guitar string
