Robocop has landed in the house! "Serve the public trust." "Protect the innocent." "Uphold the law." "What?! No I am the law!!!!!!!!!" The Panzerfausts are just low tech bang-bang for nefarious purposes. The polycap joints are for the current project I am working on. Hopefully they will be more useful than the big box of useless ones I already have.

Sorry for being slow! Work got best of me... still am working 50-60 hours a week but it will slow down soon so I can have my life back. My haul from IPMS Nats show in Madison. My budget was $250 cash so I had to control myself! My wife and I will be in England in two weeks so I am really trying to save money and it was NOT that easy!!! Damn it! I think I went over $300 with help by using my debit card. Yep, chromdome35 twisted my arm to buy this and I am glad he did! I tested it at the booth few times and it really was amazing! Brian owes me $36 now unfortunately.
I can be picky when I buy nature diorama accessories and I haven't seen anything better for fake trees than what you can buy from Bill the Tree Guy.
Normally I only use Alpine Miniatures and few other good resin manufacturers but when I found this at the show I had to buy! A set of five figures was only $45 and their details were awesome!
I am so glad I changed my mind to attend the Nats show or I will regret it for rest of my life. Man there was so many more vendors than last year. That guy with all the trees wasn't at San Marcos. Wish he had been.
Posting his biz card in case you are interested to contact him. Also I believe he has a FB account too. Hope this helps…

This kept screaming at me for 3 days to go back and buy it . . .Now it's whispering for me to build it. ARMO from Poland. Includes a link for a 3D printer file for Pilot seat and landing gear doors. Now for the Tropical Coral paint to arrive.
I really want this kit. How is it? I have an Eduard kit and I think it is pretty old kit when it is compared to new kit by Arma Hobby. I grew up in Buffalo and all P-39s were assembled at Buffalo/Niagara Falls plant! The kit appears to be very well done. I compared it to the Accurate Miniatures kit (which may be the Eduard kit now) Some things are nicer some are equal, BUT this is a Q variant and the Accurate miniatures is an N. It is worth the $66 cost from Spue Brothers.

Apparently I don’t have enough Minolta Toyota models. I already have an 88C-V and Supra A70 and I found this 88C for a price that was too good to pass up. Somebody stop me! Ben

No locating pins on this Arma kit? They are micro dimples but I understand from someone who built one, that the interior locate and glued than locates and aligns the fusloge halves. We shall see in a few weeks when I start it.

I have accidentally gone on a little bit of a kick. I blame the open wheel group build. Couple more vintage 1/20 scale Tamiya kits I didn’t have yet. A rather obscure Modeler’s 1/24 Tyrrell 019. and finally some decals for the new Salvinos JR Indycar kits to build this car:

I found a chart online that shows what pieces and parts to use for every version of the P-39 from the Eduard/AM kit.

Modeling-wise it's kind of slow for me at the moment, I'm doing some brick work in the back yard around the new garage workshop. The lighter colored bricks are from a building being torn down that was built in the late 1800's, which is pretty old for where I am in California. Most likely Chinese laborers made these bricks. The darker bricks are modern and will be used to pave the driveway for the garages. They are 1/2 to 3/4 inches smaller than the older bricks in the horizontal dimensions.

What a project John - and you chose August for this? Chinese in CA made me think of the Joss House in Weaverville. Camped up that way (Trinity, Coffee Creek) every summer as a boy.
